General description: Neocuproine hydrate is chelating agent and forms complex with Cu+ formed by reduction of Cu+2 by hydroxylamine hydrochloride and produces electrochemiluminescence. It is an efficient ligand for alcohol oxidation with palladium in 1:1 water/DMSO mixtures.
