General description: 2-Methoxyfuran forms cycloadducts with maleic anhydride and N-methylmaleimide. It undergoes Friedel-Crafts reaction with nitroalkenes catalyzed by diphenylamine-tethered bis(oxazoline)-Zn(OTf)2 complexes.
