Application: Ethyl 1-benzyl-3-oxo-4-piperidinecarboxylate hydrochloride was used in the synthesis of chromeno[3,4-c]pyridin-5-ones. It was used as starting reagent in the synthesis of 4-amino-5-chloro-2-methoxy-N-[1-[5-(1-methylindol-3-ylcarbonylamino)pentyl]piperidin-4-ylmethyl]benzamide derivative.
