Application: | Poly(propylene glycol) can be used as a:• Corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in acid solution. • Starting material to synthesize epoxy resin/polyurethane hybrid networks via frontal polymerization. It can also be used to prepare poly(PEG/PPG/PTMC urethane) thermogels for sustained release of doxorubicin. |
General description: | Poly(propylene glycol) (PPG) is a polyether. It is prepared by ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide. PPG is less toxic and used as a dispersant in leather finishing, as a surfactant, wetting agent, and in drug formulations. |
