Application: | Germanium tetrachloride may be used in the microwave preparation of Ge2Cl6, a colorless crystalline material which was included in a further study of low-valent germanium compounds.GeCl4 may be used in the plasma enhanced vapor deposition of germanium chalcogenide thin films. GeCl4 in combination with triphenylphosphine may be applied for the reduction of a number of a-bromo carboxylic acid derivatives. |
