General description: Tetrabromophenol blue is an acid-sensitive triphenylmethane dye widely employed as an industrial dye for food, drugs, cosmetics, and laboratory indicators. It belongs to the group of sulfonephthalein acid-base indicators. It is commercially available as a sodium salt.
