General description:	Dimethylamine, a secondary amine, is used as a raw material for the production of many agrichemicals and pharmaceuticals. The solvents dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylacetamide (DMA) are derived from dimethylamine. It is also used as a precursor for the preparation of amido derivatives.
