| Application: | Neopentyl glycol diacrylate can be used:• As a cross-linking agent to prepare PMMA-based gel polymer electrolyte with excellent lithium storage performance. The addition of NPGDA enhances conductivity and facilitates Li+ transport. These gel polymers are used in batteries and supercapacitors. • As a reactive diluent to prepare phenolic modified acrylates for 3D printing. Its ability to facilitate rapid UV curing allows for quick gelation, results in high-resolution prints with excellent layer adhesion. Additionally, NPGDA contributes to the thermal stability of the printed materials, making them suitable for functional applications. • As a precursor to prepare porous bone grafts with improved cell attachment. NPGDA enable the creation of interconnected porous structures that are essential for nutrient exchange and cell migration, which are vital for successful bone regeneration. |
| General description: | Neopentyl glycol diacrylate(NPGDA) is a diacrylate monomer comprising two acrylate functional groups attached to a neopentyl glycol backbone. The acrylate groups enable rapid polymerization upon exposure to UV light or thermal initiators, facilitating quick curing processes in industrial applications. It exhibits excellent thermal stability and low viscosity. It is widely used as a cross-linking agent to develop three-dimensional polymer network structures. |
