General description: Triisopropyl orthoformate (TIPO) is formed during the reaction of dichlorofluoromethane with potassium isopropoxide in isopropyl alcohol. Separation of TIPO from n-hexane by dense carbon nanotube (CNT) membranes by pervaporation has been reported.
