Application: TPO can be used in the photo-crosslinking of PMMA composite, which can further be used as a gate insulator in organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). It can also be used in the formation of UV curable urethane-acrylate coatings. It may also be used in the photoinduced reaction for the formation of organophosphine compounds, which potentially find their usage as ligands with metal catalysts and reagents.
General description: Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide (TPO) is a monoacylphosphine oxide based photoinitiator that can be incorporated in a variety of polymeric matrixes for efficient curing and color stability of the resin.
