| Application: | Poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic anhydride) P(MVE-MA) can be used:• To prepare antimicrobial hydrogels with good mechanical strength, adhesiveness to the skin, and excellent swelling ability. For example, autoclaved mixtures of P(MVE-MA) and PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) can inhibit bacteria growth against Staphylococcus aureus. • As an electrolyte additive for stabilizing the interface of high-voltage layered Li-rich oxides (LLROs). P(MVE-MA) can absorb more H2O from the electrolyte and suppress the oxidative decomposition of the electrolyte. • To functionalize electrospun PVA nanofibers for protein adsorption. These modified nanofibrous membranes can be used for protein purification. • To synthesize separator membranes with good ionic conductivity. These membranes keep the positive and negative electrodes apart and prevent electrical short circuits. |
