Application:	TEMPO (2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy) was used for trapping the styrenyl radical generated from benzoyl peroxide during nitroxide-mediated radical polymerization of styrene. TEMPO-mediated oxidation was employed for the carboxylation of water-resistant nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) films.
