Application:	Sodium borohydride is a mild reducing agent commonly used for the reduction of aldehydes and ketones to their corresponding alcohols. It is also a promising candidate as a hydrogen carrier and storage media for polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells. NaBH₄ caplets can be used for the synthesis of Ti³⁺-doped titanium dioxide powders from TiO₂ powders.
