It can also be used as: • A strong hindered base in the different elimination reactions. • An organocatalyst to synthesize annulated pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives via multicomponent condensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile, and barbituric acid. |
