| General description: | C76 is a higher fullerene with 76 carbon atoms. It may be prepared by dc arc discharge method. C NMR study of C76 shows the phase transition temperature to be in the range of 135-170K and the effect of crystallinity is different from C60 and C70. Electron affinity of C76 was determined to be 2.88+/- 0.05 eV. |
