Application: Cobalt naphthenate may be used as a catalyst that facilitates the free radical polymerization of (3-methacryloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (MPS), which can be used to functionalize alumina nanoparticles. It can be used as a promoter for the development of unsaturated flame retardant polyesters.
