| General description: | IsoNanotubes-S™ are produced by arch discharge or plasma torch. The diameter of the semiconducting single walled nanotubes range in 1.2-1.7 nm, whereas the length varies from 100nm to 4 μm. The degree of purity of the SWNTs can be determined from the absorbance spectrum. The optical absorbance of semiconducting SWNTs occurs at S22 (850-1250nm) and S33 (450-550nm). Toxic behavior of SWNTS were studied by studying the response of human hepatocarcinoma cells to SWNTs. |
