| Application: | Lithium carbonate is one of the most important basic lithium salts, widely used in lithium-ion batteries, mainly used as a precursor for synthesizing lithium-ion battery cathode material. It is used to produce materials such as LCO(Lithium Cobalt Oxide), LMO(Lithium ion Manganese Oxide), LTO(Lithium Titanate Oxide), LFP, NMC111, NMC442, NMC532, NMC622 for Li-ion battery and those for other alkaline batteries. It can be used in research areas of therapies such as bipolar disorder, and certain neurological disorders. In the glass industry, lithium carbonate is employed in the production of specialized and optical glass. Additionally, it serves as a flux for making ductile ceramics, ceramic coatings used in metal preservation, and heat-resistant ceramic coatings. It is used as a deoxidizer in the process of industrial copper and nickel smelting; lithium can be used as a sulfur cleaner. It is also used in alloys with a variety of metals. |
