Application: Palau′Chlor® is an electrophilic reagent that is useful in the chlorination of aromatic and heteroaromatic substrates, as well as the alpha-chlorination of carbonyl compounds. Palau′Chlor® is an air-stable, free-flowing powder that combines reactivity and practicality, providing an excellent alternative to conventional chlorinating agents such as N-chlorosuccinimide and tert-butyl hypochlorite.
