Application: | Bromocresol Purple is widely used as a vital stain to trace fluid diffusion in the lymphatic system. In addition, the dye is suitable to differentiate dead or live yeast cells. As a pH indicator, Bromocresol Purple is used in microbial culture media, both broth, and agar. In analytical experiments, e.g., to stain carbonic anhydrase isoenzyme on cellulose acetate electrophoresis membranes, bromocresol purple is used. |
