| General description: | Extra-large desiccator provides a low humidity, dust free environment for several large containers or a lot more small ones! Each desiccator comes with two removable shelves and can hold up to seven shelves spaced 2 in. apart (extra shelves sold separately). Constructed from Eastman′s Tritan™ co-polyester (rear panel and door are polycarbonate), allows quick visualization of desiccator contents and is rugged for long life. Available in Standard, Automatic or Gas Purge models. Standard Model: Desiccant (sold separately) can be placed below bottom shelf. Recommend use of Scienceware Desiccant in a Cartridge (Z163414-1EA) Automatic Model: Desiccant is housed in a pre-programmed module that continually regenerates the desiccant every 20 minutes (operates on 120 V) Gas Purge Model: Includes two gas port fittings with stopcock valves located on back panel to utilize a dry gas of your choice as desiccant. |
