Application: | HS-PEG-COOH may be tethered to the gold nanoparticle end during the fabrication of epidermal growth factor (EGF)-conjugated surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) nanoparticles. HS-PEG-COOH was coated onto silicon-on-insulator photonic biosensor chips. Quantum dots (QD)/ virus-like particles (VLPs) could be obtained only from HS-PEG-COOH-coated QDs. It may be used to stabilize nanoparticles and prevent its aggregation. |
