• As an electrolyte in self-healing aqueous lithium-ion batteries.
• As an electrolyte additive in lead acid batteries. The addition of lithium sulfate improves the life cycle and efficiency of acid batteries.
• As an electrolyte for the production of high energy and power supercapacitors.

In addition, Lithium sulfate is hygroscopic in nature. It has pyroelectric properties. It has various applications in the fields of lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, glass industry, ceramic production, organic synthesis, and manufacture of alloys.
