Application: Tripropargylamine is widely used in the synthesis of Cu(I) stabilizing ligands such as tris(3-hydroxypropyltriazolylmethyl)amine (THPTA) and tris[(1-benzyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl]amine (TBTA) for the copper-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) click reaction.
It can also be used in the synthesis of anthracene appended tripodal triazole, tris[(9-anthryl benzyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-yl)methyl]amine as a receptor for fluorescence recognition of Ni2+ in aqueous solution.
