General description: | Whatman 934-AH is one of the most widely used filters for Total Suspended Solids Analysis and is now available in a time saving Ready-To-Use (RTU) format. The 934-AH RTU contains the trusted binder-free, high purity borosilicate glass microfiber filter mentioned in Standard Methods 2540D. It comes pre-washed and pre-weighed, this eliminates filter pre-treating and streamlines your laboratory process. Each RTU filter is packaged within an aluminium pan with the filter weight clearly printed on a heat resistant label. The fine particle retention of this popular grade is superior for its high retention efficiency at high flow rates and its high loading capacity. This is a smooth surface, high-retention borosilicate glass microfiber filter which withstands temperatures over 500°C. Used for determining total suspended solids in water, removal of turbidity, and filtration of bacterial cultures. Grade 934-AH is used for a wide range of laboratory applications. It is recommended for water pollution monitoring, cell harvesting, liquid scintillation counting, and air pollution monitoring.
