| General description: | Sterile syringe filters with glass microfiber membrane (GMF) and prefilter designed to support filtration of viscous, hard-to-filter samples with high solids content. The Whatman GD/X sterile, glass microfiber (GMF) membrane syringe filters are designed to enable the filtration of viscous, hard-to-filter samples greater than 10 mL. Each unit contains a prefiltration stack of Whatman multigrade glass microfiber (GMF) and Glass fiber (GF/F) filters. The combination of this pre-filtration stack and filter housing design enables you to filter highly particular loaded samples. Cytiva′s GD/X sterile syringe filter is suitable for preparing viscous, dense, or otherwise hard-to-filter samples prior to a variety of analytical methods. |
