Application: Flash chromatography is useful for rapid, preparative separations with moderate resolutions. As first described in J. Org. Chem., 43, 2923 (1978), it is commonly performed with silica gel although the use of reversed phase packings has become popular in recent years.
General description: Grease-free design eliminates contamination and frozen joints. Consists of column and flow controller. Order solvent reservoir separately. See the Air-Sensitive section for a description of the threaded joint.
