General description: Model 3A is lightweight benchtop unit with cylindrical steel housings (3 3/4 × 3 1/2 in..), gray epoxy finish, polyurethane feet, pilot lamp, 3-wire receptacle (U.S. plug) on a 12 in. cord, and a 4 ft, 3-wire power cord with U.S. plug
General description: Used to control THERMOWELL heating mantles or other resistive heating circuits (hot plates, heat tapes, water baths, etc.). Available in solid-state or proportional on/off models. All models are fused (without circuit breakers). Each unit is calibrated to deliver a known amount of power or voltage at a given dial setting in the 15 to 70% range (off below 15% and full on above 70%). High capacity with constant power output despite large line voltage fluctuations. Does not vary voltage. 50/60 Hz.
