General description: Single port design with HI-VAC® control valve and aluminum shield for heat deflection. Permits evacuation and flame tip-off of 5mm diam. NMR tube without additional sealing to other glass apparatus. To use, insert NMR tube through the open top cap, place Viton® O-ring over open end of tube, insert tube into the BEVEL-SEAL™ thread, and tighten cap onto thread to make a vacuum seal. Use with 5mm × 9in. L NMR tubes.
