| General description: | The Techni-Dome® Glove Chamber offers generous interior workspace with a small footprint that preserves benchtop space. Each Techni-Dome® 360 Glove Chamber is molded of transparent polycarbonate for clear viewing from any angle. Polycarbonate construction affords resistance to a wide range of chemicals, high-impact strength and scratch-resistance and the smooth, hemispherical interior cleans easily. Molded-in handles and low weight offer portability, making the unit suitable for field use. When no longer needed, the Glove Chamber can be quickly opened up, the two halves nested one inside the other, and the entire unit can be stowed away, regaining benchtop space. The unit′s two-piece construction allows for quick processing of samples. To use the Glove Chamber, simply open the top half, place materials on the included platform, and close the unit. The Glove Chamber is now ready for use. Molded-in ports on top and bottom and one included stopcock with plug can be used to purge the glove chamber with nitrogen or other gases to create a controlled atmosphere. port clamps and gloves are not included |
