Application: Laminin has been demonstrated to promote the attachment and growth of a variety of cells; used for the coating of culture dishes. It has been used for cell adhesion assay. It is recommended for use as a cell culture substratum at 1-2μg/cm2. The optimal concentration does depend on cell type as well as the application or research objectives.
Application: Laminin supports growth and differentiation of many cell types including epithelial, endothelial, neural, muscle and liver cells. It is recommended for use as a cell culture substratum at 1-2 μg/cm2. The optimal concentration does depend on cell type as well as the application or research objectives.
General description: Laminin is purified as laminin-nidogen complex from mouse Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) sarcoma. Laminin is a heterotrimer made from α, β and γ chain subunits. It is a glycoprotein which is required for the structural scaffolding of basement membranes. Laminin supports growth and differentiation of many cell types including epithelial, endothelial, neural, muscle and liver cells.

Biological activity: Tested for the promotion of adherence of HT-1080 cells.
Species specificity: Active on most mammalian cells.
Other Notes: 2024 CiteAb Award Winner for Supplier Succeeding in Parkinson′s Research
Other Notes: Mouse laminin is composed of three polypeptide chains (A: 400 kD, B1: 230 kD and B2: 220 kD), connected by disulphide bridges, and is glycosylated.
Physical form: Solution, 0.5 mg/ml laminin in 0.15 M NaCl, 2 mM EDTA, 0.05 M Tris-HCl, pH 7.4, sterile
Physical form: Solution, filtered through 0.2 ?m pore size membrane
Preparation Note: Working concentration: 2 to 5 μg/cm2
2 to 5 μg/cm2 for the coating of cell culture vessels

New Tariffs & Effects on Pricing

Tariff note: As we navigate the current environment of tariff surcharges and mid-year manufacturer price increases, we want to keep you informed. While we have avoided making specific decisions thus far, we anticipate that we will be forced to implement a cost adjustment policy to offset the fees we have already been absorbing. We are committed to transparency and moderation in this process.
