Biochem/physiol Actions: | Ammonium acetate can be used in x-ray crystallography, optimization reagents, protein structural analysis, and proteomics. It can also be used in a study to develop a novel and simple high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of two selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and two serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors in alternative samples of toxicological interest such as hair, nail clippings, and cerebrospinal fluid. |
Other Notes: | Elution buffer in separation of proteins by gel filtration, ammonium acetate is volatile and can be removed during lyophilization. |
