Application: Hydrazine monohydrate has been used to synthesize 2-(6-ethylamino-3-ethylimino-2,7-dimethyl-3H-xanthen-9-yl)benzoic acid hydrazide and vinyl-benzylamine hydrochloride. It may also be used as a source of hydrogen via decomposition in the presence of supported bimetallic catalyst composed of Ni-Pt alloy nanoparticles and mesoporous CeO2 support.
Hydrazine monohydrate may be used as a reducing agent for the reduction of:
• Nitroarenes in the presence of hydrogen peroxide functionalized carbon nanotubes.
• 4-Iodo-3-nitroanisole to form 2-iodo-5-methoxyaniline.
• Graphene oxide (GO) to form graphene.
General description: Crystals of hydrazine monohydrate exhibit triclinic crystal system and space group P3121.

New Tariffs & Effects on Pricing

Tariff note: As we navigate the current environment of tariff surcharges and mid-year manufacturer price increases, we want to keep you informed. While we have avoided making specific decisions thus far, we anticipate that we will be forced to implement a cost adjustment policy to offset the fees we have already been absorbing. We are committed to transparency and moderation in this process.
