Dowex® 50WX4 hydrogen form when treated in boiling water converted D,L-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate diethyl acetal (barium salt) to free aldehyde D,L-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate.
Application: Strongly acidic cation exchange resin that meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25
