Application: Zineb may be used as the reference standard for the determination of zineb in wheat samples by capillary electrophoresis with ultraviolet (UV) detection, in commercial formulations by flow injection analysis-atomic absorption spectrometry (FIA-AAS), environmental water samples by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) in scanning or selected ion monitoring (SIM) mode and in synthetic samples, spiked water samples and crops by H-point standard addition method (HPSAM) combined with ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometry.
General description: Zineb belongs to the ethylenebisdithiocarbamates (EBDCs) class of compounds which has been employed in crop protection.
