Micro-Array for Mass Spectrometry (MAMS)
SIAL/50757 - for single cell analysis
Product Type: Chemical
L × W × H | 75 mm × 25 mm × 1.1 mm |
surface resistivity | 15-25 Ω/sq |
technique(s) | MALDI-MS: suitable |
Compatibility: | Compatible with the Bruker Daltonik MTP Slide Adapter II. |
Features and Benefits: | MAMS represent a type of substrate for MALDI-MS using a combination of hydrophilic reservoirs surrounded by an omniphobic surface for massively parallel, automated sample spotting. The 13x13 spot array MAMS chip is designed for use in single cell analysis. Cells can easily be distributed in MAMS by pulling a droplet of cell suspension over the microarray surface with a glass slide or piece of plastic resulting in the generation of very reproducible nanoliter aliquots avoiding the need of a robotic microarray spotter. |
General description: | • 2x 169 (13x13) spots • spot diameter: 100 μm • spot depth: ~40 μm • pitch: 500 μm Polysilazane-coated, transparent indium tin oxide target slide, microstructured with an array of 13x13 100 μm diameter spots with a site-to-site distance of 500 μm in both dimensions, produced by picosecond laser ablation. Recipient sites of larger (1.5 mm in diameter) size were machined outside the 13 × 13 array for depositing mass calibrants. |
