| General description: | FluoroSELECT™ Total Coliform Assay Kit is used as a presumptive screen intended for the rapid detection of coliform bacteria from a swab sample using the FluoroSELECT™ handheld fluorometer. FluoroSELECT™ is based on a fluorogenic enzyme-substrate reaction. The target organisms possess enzyme systems that hydrolyze the fluorogenic substrates, (during peptide hydrolysis), producing fluorescence which is read by a fluorometer at 480nm(ex)/530nm(em). |
