Cell Line Description: | Derived from a 54 year old female with malignant melanoma. The cell line produces rapidly growing amelanotic melanomas in anti-thymocyte serum treated NIH Swiss mice. |
Components: | ATG004A-1VL: A375 NY-ESO-1 Knockout ATG004B-1VL: A375 NY-ESO-1 Low ATG004C-1VL: A375 NY-ESO-1 High |
Features and Benefits: | The A375 NY-ESO-1 antigen panel cell lines feature NY-ESO-1 expressed at varying levels (KO, low, and high). These cell lines enable researchers to screen and evaluate the efficacy and potency of NY-ESO-1-targeted immunotherapies in a biologically-relevant cellular research model. |
General description: | This product is a panel of three (3) genetically modified cell lines involving the NY-ESO-1 gene. The panel consists of a NY-ESO-1 knockout cell line (NY-ESO-1-/-) as well as a NY-ESO-1low and a NY-ESO-1high expression cell line. The NY-ESO-1-/- cell line was generated using CompoZr® Zinc Finger Nuclease technology, and the two NY-ESO-1 expression cell lines were generated using MISSION® lentivirus. The NY-ESO-1low and NY-ESO-1high cell lines express NY-ESO-1 at low and high levels relative to the NY-ESO-1-/- cell line (NY-ESO-1high > NY-ESO-1low > NY-ESO-1-/-) as measured via fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). As a comparison, wild type A375 cells demonstrate NY-ESO-1medium expression as measured via FACS. The STR profile of these cell lines match that of its parental cell line - ECACC catalog number 88113005. |
