| Preparation Note: | Suspend 23 g of Nutrient Agar pH 6.8 in 1000 ml of distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs. pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. If desired, the medium can be enriched with 5-10% v/v sterile defibrinated blood. |
