SIAL/NIST1549A - NIST® SRM® 1549a
Product Type: Chemical
format | matrix material |
grade | certified reference material |
manufacturer/tradename | NIST® |
packaging | pkg of 5 pouches x 10 g ea |
Quality Level | 100 |
Application: | The Standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended for use in the validation of methods for determining elements, vitamins, and cholesterol in whole milk powder and similar matrices and for quality assurance when assigning values to in-house control materials. |
Features and Benefits: | • NIST certified values traceable to the International System of Units (SI) are derived unit of mass fraction, expressed as milligrams per kilogram or milligrams per gram. • Determination of elements was done using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), and instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA). • The determination of cholesterol was done by using isotope dilution (ID) gas chromatography (GC) with mass spectrometry (MS). • Expiration details, instructions for use, storage, and handling are provided on the NIST certificate. |
General description: | A unit of SRM 1549a consists of five heat-sealed aluminized packets, each containing around 10 g of material. For more information, please refer to the SDS and COA. SRM 1549A_cert SRM 1549A_SDS |
