General description: TSS/pH (whole volume) in Seawater - WS proficiency testing material is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. This product is also referred to as Potable water or Drinking Water sample. The PT portfolio allows our test components to offer significant performance data to monitor and prove competency to customers, accreditation bodies or both.

Preparation Note: Description

• This sample is packaged in a 500 mL HDPE bottle containing approximately 500 mL of solution.
• This sample should be stored at 18 - 20 ºC.
• This sample is not preserved.

Sample Preparation

• This sample has been prepared as a whole volume standard and is ready to analyze as received.
• Recap immediately after use.
• Shake sample well prior to opening.
• Analyze for pH first. Then shake the sample again and analyze per your normal laboratory procedures for residue.
• The suspended solids may settle over a time period. It is recommended that you shake the sample prior to every use.
Storage and Stability: Please refer to sample label for expiration date, specific storage temperature, and specific storage conditions.
