General description: | Cyanide Amenable to Chlorination - WP proficiency testing material is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. This product is also referred to as non-Potable water or Water Pollution sample. The PT portfolio allows our test components to offer significant performance data to monitor and prove competency to customers, accreditation bodies, or both. Preparation Note: | Description • This ampule contains a concentrate for the preparation of a solution that can be analyzed for Cyanide Amenable to Chlorination. • The sample contains both simple and complex cyanides. • This PT sample is as a 2 mL concentrate. Sample Preparation • Partially fill a 1000 mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20 °C) and add 1 mL of 1N NaOH. • Open ampule PE1147-2ML and transfer 1.0 mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask. • Fill the flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well. • The sample is now ready for immediate analysis. |
