| General description: | Dioxins in Water - WS (Water Supply) proficiency testing material is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. Also referred to as Potable water or Water Supply sample, this sample is produced according to TNI requirements. However, please note, this sample may include non-TNI analytes as well. The lower criteria from the TNI tables mimic the levels common to drinking water samples. The PT portfolio allows our test components to offer significant performance data to monitor and prove competency to customers, accreditation bodies, or both. Most water PT samples are available as concentrates or ready-to-use volumes giving the end-user flexibility in selecting samples that will fit their exact needs. | Preparation Note: | Description This concentrate contains 2,3,7,8-TCDD in toluene. Sample preparation • Pour 1000 mL of reagent grade DI water into an extraction vessel. • Open ampule and transfer 1 mL of concentrate to the extraction vessel using Class - A glassware. • Analyze as required by your normal procedures. • For calculation purposes assume 1 L sample volume. |
