General description: | Demand - Whole Volume - WP proficiency testing material is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. Also referred to as non-Potable water or Water Pollution sample, this product is produced according to TNI requirements. However, please note, this sample may include non-TNI analytes as well. The higher criteria from the TNI tables mimic the levels common to wastewater samples. The PT portfolio allows our test components to offer significant performance data to monitor and prove competency to customers, accreditation bodies or both. Preparation Note: | Description • This sample is supplied in a 500 mL HDPE bottle as a whole-volume solution. • This sample is not preserved. • Analyze immediately after opening. Sample Preparation • The sample is ready to analyze. Shake well prior to opening. • This sample should be analyzed as soon as possible after opening. • It is necessary to seed dilutions of this standard prior to BOD and CBOD analysis. • A nitrification inhibitor must be used when analyzing for CBOD. • Analyze using your normal procedures. • After opening, analyze the sample as soon as possible within the maximum 28-day holding time. |
