Biochem/physiol Actions:	Exemestane is a steroidal antiestrogen and irreversible aromatase inhibitor. Exemestane acts as a false substrate for the aromatase enzyme. Exemestane also prevents the conversion of androgens to estrogens and is used to treat estrogen-dependent breast cancer.
