General description: | Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate is the hydrated salt of magnesium. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters of the (Cu(H2O)6)2+ complex in magnesium sulfate heptahydrate have been determined by electron spin resonance (ESR) spectral studies. Raman spectra of 10 hydrated and anhydrous forms of magnesium sulfates have been reported. Their crystal structure and space groups have been evaluated by Raman and XRD (X-ray diffraction) studies. |
