Application: | Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate can be used as a catalyst to synthesize tri/tetra-substituted imidazoles via a one-pot condensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes, benzil, aliphatic and aromatic primary amines, and ammonium acetate. It is also used to synthesize phenazine and quinoxaline derivatives. |
