Application: | Ethyl cellulose is generated by converting a variable number of hydroxyl groups on the repeating glucose units to ethyl ether groups. Ethylcellulose is used in the preparation of biostructures such as matrices, microspheres, microparticles, pellets and tablets for use in drug delivery. |
