Application:	Zinc sulfate solution has been used as a component in media for in vitro hyphal growth assays. It has also been used as a supplement in the media along with isopropyl β-D-1-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG), while expressing zinc containing proteins.
Biochem/physiol Actions:	Zinc sulfate solution is as potent as formalin. This chemical is mainly used to treat footrot. It may also be used to treat acute bronchiolitis.
