Application: Adenine has been used in yeast extract supplemented (YES) broth and yeast nitrogen base glutamate (YNG)l media.
Application: Adenine may be used as a plant cell culture additive. Adenine Sulphate (25mg/L) in the culture media such as Murashige & Skoog media improves the frequency of multiple shoot production and recovered the chlorotic symptoms of the leaves.
General description: Adenine (Ade) is a purine base, which is present in nucleic acids. It binds with ribose to form nucleoside adenosine (A) and attach to deoxyribose to form nucleoside deoxyadenosine (dA).
